About Mia
I’ve always excelled in school but it’s important to have a balanced life outside of studying. I enjoy playing golf and piano, swimming and volunteering. Having been in the JROTC HS program over the past 3 years, I have held positions as the Platoon Commander, Morale Officer, and Cadet Advisor. My tutoring style is a combination of applying the military mindset when it comes to disciplines and mixing it with interactive approach to make it more fun & engaging. In addition, I’ve competed in HS Speech & Debate and am currently the club treasurer. I would like to help make math and physics more enjoyable to learn while improving grades, providing tips to perform under pressure.

I am a high school junior taking college courses in the summer. I have been taking AP classes and can provide tutoring services for physics and math covering Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Algebra, Integrated 1-2-3, Geometry, and also Speech & Debate for high schoolers & middle schoolers. I am easy going, calm and patient, reliable, persistent and resourceful. Most importantly, I can communicate and tutor effectively different academic levels, study styles, and personalities. I look forward to working and helping you/your student. I make it more fun and easier to understand and retain the materials.
