About Harrison
I possess a solid analytical foundation for test preparation from my educational background studying Economics at The University of Pennsylvania. I bring strong organizational skills to that FINRA exam prep process that ensure each tutoring session is well-structured and targeted towards the best use of time. I excel at demystifying unfamiliar topics and test taking strategies, drawing on my knowledge of the exam structure and insights from my personal experience with the licensing process as both a recent test taker and tutor.

I begin with a brief review of the student's previous progress including prior exam results, upcoming test date, and greatest areas for improvement within the content of a specific exam. After an initial assessment, I gauge their current understanding through specific concept questions and student feedback to identify the best area of focus for the lesson. The breadth of material covered on FINRA exams can make the test prep process overwhelming for some students. This assessment process both makes the scope of studying more manageable and focuses it to the portions of the test where there is the greatest opportunity for rapid improvement. For returning students, I will use past tutoring sessions and independent study performance between sessions to the best area of focus. I also provide returning students with a clear set of study goals between tutoring sessions in order to help structure independent study as their exam date approaches.
