About Justin
As a teacher, I strive to create an environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and genuinely capable of growth. I know that singing can feel vulnerable, and I believe some of the best progress happens when students feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and discover what their voice can truly do. My years of teaching and performing have taught me that every singer develops differently, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in themselves while developing healthy, expressive, and sustainable vocal technique. I work hard to meet each student where they are, celebrate their progress, and inspire them to believe in their own potential both on and off the stage.

I believe every voice has something unique and meaningful to offer, and my goal as a teacher is to help each student discover confidence, freedom, and authenticity in their singing. I’ve been teaching voice for over 10 years and have worked with students of all ages, experience levels, and musical styles—from beginners finding their voice for the first time to experienced performers preparing for auditions and performances. My lessons are supportive, encouraging, and tailored to each individual student’s goals, whether that’s improving technique, building confidence, expanding range, or preparing for the stage.
Alongside my teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with Grammy-winning artists such as Siedah Garrett and Jeff Koz, and I’ve performed on large stages across the United States with symphony orchestras as well as in operas and musicals. I earned my Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from West Texas A&M University and completed two years of doctoral study in Vocal Performance at University of North Texas. I bring both professional performance experience and advanced vocal training into my teaching, helping students build healthy vocal technique while also learning how to connect emotionally and artistically with music. No matter where you are in your musical journey, I’d love the opportunity to help you grow as a singer and performer.
