About Maria
¡Hola! I’m María, a native Spanish speaker from Spain and a qualified teacher based in London. I hold a university degree in Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
I am a friendly, patient and supportive teacher who understands that learning a new language as an adult can sometimes feel intimidating. I explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, interests and personal goals.
Whether you are learning Spanish for travel, work, conversation or simply for enjoyment, I will help you build your confidence and use Spanish in practical, everyday situations. My lessons focus on Spanish from Spain and provide a relaxed environment where you can learn at your own pace without worrying about making mistakes.

Our first lesson will help me understand your current level, your reasons for learning Spanish and what you would like to achieve.
Each lesson combines explanation with practical speaking activities, so you can understand how Spanish works and begin using it confidently. I will adapt the content, pace and materials to your level and interests.
You do not need to worry about making mistakes—they are a natural part of learning. My role is to guide you, correct you constructively and help you make steady, realistic progress.
