About Thandiswa
Hi! I’m a Hockaday student who loves connecting with people and helping them grow. I play lacrosse, lead Lax Reach to expand access to the sport internationally, and dive into computer science through advanced coursework and programs like IMACS University CS. I’m friendly, approachable, and patient, and I bring the same energy and dedication to tutoring that I do to sports and other projects. I’m reliable, organized, and excited to help students build confidence, learn at their own pace, and enjoy the process along the way.

I am a dedicated honors student at The Hockaday School with a 3.80 GPA and a 1540 SAT score, demonstrating both strong content mastery and disciplined study habits. Through balancing rigorous academics with competitive lacrosse where I’ve earned D1 All-State and helped my team win two state championships. Being deeply involved in sports has made me sociable and comfortable working with many different personalities, which allows me to connect easily with students and create a supportive learning environment! As a tutor, I combine structure and high expectations to help students develop the independent skills they need to succeed.
