About Sujeena
I'm an accountant and certified project officer who enjoys helping people learn accounting, bookkeeping, and professional skills in a simple and practical way. I know accounting can seem complex at first, so I focus on clear explanations and real examples that make it easier to understand. In my lessons, we cover everything from managing payroll and BAS to using Xero and MYOB with confidence. I also share soft skills I've learned through project management, such as time management, organization, teamwork, and communication — skills that are just as important for success in study and work. Each lesson usually runs for about an hour and is flexible to suit your pace. I like to keep things friendly and interactive, with plenty of space for questions and practice. My lessons are great for: 1. Students studying accounting or bookkeeping 2. Graduates preparing for entry-level accounting roles 3. Small business owners learning to manage their own accounts 4. Anyone wanting to build confidence in both accounting and workplace skills I'm based in Hobart and passionate about helping people feel capable, organized, and confident in their accounting and professional growth.

As a qualified Accountant and Certified Project Officer, I believe learning is most effective when it connects real-world experience with clear, practical guidance. My lessons are structured to build confidence step-by-step, whether you’re a student just starting out or a professional wanting to strengthen your accounting or bookkeeping skills.
I use a hands-on teaching approach with examples drawn from real accounting tasks such as preparing BAS, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, and using Xero or MYOB. My aim is to simplify complex concepts and help you understand *why* things are done a certain way - not just how.
Each lesson typically runs for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your goals and preferred pace. Sessions can include short demonstrations, guided exercises, and practical discussions about workflow and compliance challenges. I also offer feedback and study tips to help you apply your learning in university or the workplace.
My background includes experience in public practice and commercial accounting, working with financial reporting, taxation, and client management. I also hold a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Finance, Management) and am certified in Project Management, with training in communication, teamwork, and time management.
