If you have never programmed before, don't worry, we can see the basic notions of programming in C/C++/C#. And from there move on to how much fun it is to make video games!
If you already have programming knowledge, much better, we can start directly with the engine of your choice. And if you already have previous knowledge with an engine, surely you want to dedicate yourself to this professionally, but you may not know how you access the industry, if that is the case, you have the opportunity to learn from someone who has professional knowledge of how the video game industry.
If you don't have previous knowledge with any engine, don't worry, it is usually the best, the different tutorials that you can find, in general, teach bad practices to program video games, which are then difficult to remove.
Unity is the most used engine in the video game industry, mainly focused on indie games. Lighter and easier to learn.
Unreal is one of the great beasts of video games, focused on high quality games, and very demanding, both for the computer and for the developer.
