About Carrie
I am currently Head of Year 7 in a school in Birmingham. I am a keen historian who has marked for Edexcel and has great results with my students. I attended the University of Warwick for both my degrees and have experience of helping students gain places at Russell Group universities. I am a bubbly individual, who is devoted to her students. I am the type of teacher that talks through a puppet and has a song for every topic. I love to develop a love of learning in my students as well as the ambition for academic success. I keep up to date with my historical knowledge and constantly travel to new places. I go above and beyond for all students and nothing makes me happier than watching them succeed. My passion for history really drives what I do and is evident in my teaching.
