I am Asemahle and I'm interested in
teaching history because it reveals how the modern world came to be. By exploring the past, students understand the present and see that today’s realities exist because of past actions. My goal is to build critical thinkers who learn from history instead of repeating it.

My lessons are unique because they teach us from past successes and mistakes so we don’t repeat them. They explain how our world, laws, and cultures formed — like why Port Elizabeth is now Gqeberha. Most importantly, history builds empathy by showing life through others’ eyes and trains critical thinking since it has no single “answer key”.
