About Anushka
My name is Anushka, and I’m 22. I am currently finishing up my History degree. I am currently a tutor with Explore Learning, and I’ve gained a lot of skills in teaching maths and english concepts. I am confident in teaching, and keeping lessons engaging for young people.
I worked as a support worker for 2 years so I’m very experienced in empathy and understanding, all of which has helped me to develop an open, approachable and kind attitude to teaching.

I would use the first lesson to understand you/your child’s learning style. I understand that everyone has a different way of learning, and I think it’s important to adapt to that.
I like to encourage an attitude of enjoying learning, and so I don’t like to be too harsh on mistakes. I think you learn the most when lessons are fun and engaging, but still maintain accuracy in lessons.
Typically lessons will be from about 45minutes to an hour. Less than this can be ineffectual, and more than this can lead to zoning out or burning out and is not great for learning either.

Anushks is an amazing tutor - she's incredibly patient and is able to explain things clearly and methodically. She's also so cheerful and starts off each lesson with really good energy while maintaining her professionalism.
