About Katie
I'm a History and Philosophy graduate from the University of Leeds, and I am also beginning my teacher training. Throughout my degree, my focus has been on Early Modern and Modern Europe ( Spanish and British American Colonisation, Tudor England, Warfare in the Georgian Period, 20th Century Germany and Russia are some examples of what I have studied), but I am also well-read in Medieval History!
I have a lot of passion for History, and I hope to be able to help students, and I will always centre student's comfort and needs in my sessions. Excited to meet you!

As I studied English Literature at A-level, as well as my History degree, I can also tutor essay and exam practice, as well as helping you with subjects both on and off of the curriculum. My focus is empowering students' critical thinking skills, in order to promote understanding rather than just memorising facts - helping students to achieve their best possible grades!
