I was a struggling high school student myself, so I know what is like to struggle in school feel and not feel like I am fulfilling my academic potential. Confidence is a big part of being able to break the mold and reach our academic goals and I know just how to do that by utilizing a variety of different simple yet effective teaching methods that will make you forget you were even struggling.

I am a History and Social Sciences teacher. I graduated from York University with a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Minor in Anthropological Studies. My academic expertise is in History, English, Anthropology, Religious Studies, and Philosophy.
I have direct classroom teaching experience and am regularly familiar with the Ontario Curriculum. I have been tutoring and mentoring students and adult learners since 2017. As a teacher, I have expertise in exam prep and assignment proofreading, and my profession enables me to teach people how to utilize their analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as simple but effective ways to teach students to develop nuanced understandings of reading material.
