About Czeska
HI there ! My name is Czeska and I recently graduated with a First Class Honours in History of Art from University College London. My experience ranges from medieval art to Contemporary and I have specialise in areas including, Post-Colonial, Feminism, Methodologies of Art History, Art History theory, Premodernity- 1600c. and 1700c. – contemporary, Urban space and early modern visual culture. In my A levels I studied Art History, Art and Ancient History, achieving 3 A*'s.

I like to make classes as engaging as possible when dealing with tricky concepts in Art History. It can be daunting to be confident in your ideas and I will help students build this confidence and guide their approach to reviewing and analysing artworks and their contexts. When tutoring students I will ask them to send me their readings and class materials to review prior to our session. We will then discuss these concepts in our sessions and begin thinking about questions that are posed when looking at these works and their implications. We will focus on in depth visual analysis and consider the works formal qualities as well as thinking about what the context of this artwork can tell us about its visual elements. We can work through structures for essay plans and I will mark essay drafts for them and then go through these in detail in our sessions to ensure students have understood key concepts.
