About Grace
I am a graduate of History and French from the University of Exeter. Currently, I am undertaking a masters degree in Defence, Development and Diplomacy at the University of Durham. I spent a year working at CERN in Switzerland from 2020-2021, during which time I worked on my spoken and professional French. As a non-native French speaker, I understand the difficulties of learning a new language through education. However, this has also enabled me to develop a more profound appreciation for the benefits of multilingualism - a passion which I am keen to pass on.

I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Qualification and experience in tutoring lower school students whilst undertaking my A-Levels. I have also completed a York Students in Schools programme in which I assisted the Physical Education department and helped tutor students that were struggling academically, so I am well accustomed to the complexities of tutoring. My working hours are negotiable. I understand that every student is different and has varying needs, so I will endeavour to take these in to account by producing personalised lesson plans. If there are any particular issues, I would be happy to discuss these at length with the pupil so we can get the most out of our lessons together.
