About Kaela
I am a recent Ancient Classics Major with minors in (1) Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies, and (2) Medieval Archaeology. I have experience volunteering in Museum collections and teaching English.
I am enthralled with the history of magic and how ancient civilizations understood the world around them. The study of the Monstrous Feminine continues to be relevant today, it's fascinating to see what has and has not changed between western ancient civilizations and modernity.

I love chatting about ancient history and ancient magic, I hope that my students have a basic understanding of Ancient civilizations, however, any level is appreciated. My classes will be beginner focused, with introductory level information. You will need to understand basic essay writing knowledge, how to format and create creative theses.
With a passion for Museum studies and Archaeology, I have a material culture focused approach to studying/ teaching ancient history. Each lesson will focus on primary sources and additionally scholarly secondary material that helps us interpret information. We will be asking lots of questions and you have to have an open mind.
