About Megan
PLEASE NOTE - I am currently at full capacity for face to face sessions until January.
Hello I’m Megan! I have been working as a speech and language therapist for 8 years and love what I do! I graduated with a Masters degree in Speech and Language Sciences from UCL in 2018. Communication is fundamental for success and I am passionate about developing skills to help children flourish! I am extremely patient and like to work on goals that feel functional and relevant for each child. My other passions are reading and writing, my undergrad degree was in English and creative writing and I find communication goes hand in hand with developing literacy skills. During the week I work as a manager for the NHS where I manage a small caseload and supervise other speech and language therapists. I am currently available to work with your child evenings and weekends.

Welcome to Speech and Language sessions with Megan! I offer bespoke 1:1 assessment and therapy sessions for children of all ages. I have 8 years of experience working in special schools, mainstream schools and clinics and currently work in the NHS with children with social, emotional and mental health needs. I am patient, fun, kind and extremely passionate about communication and teaching children to advocate for themselves.
Below is some key information about how my sessions work.
First Session: Super Prof automatically lists a “free first session.”, I treat this as a 30 minute introductory consultation where I will meet your child, discuss your goals, and explain how I work.
Assessment and Therapy sessions begin from the second meeting
Rates:
Standard session (45–60 mins): £75
Travel surcharge: £15 to cover time/costs)
Location: Sessions can take place at your home or online.
What Sessions Look Like:
For younger children: play-based activities to encourage communication
For older children/teens: structured exercises, games, and strategies •
Parents are always welcome to observe — I’ll give feedback at the end

The first free lesson with Megan will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
The first session in an online consultation either with just parents or with the child as well where I take a thorough case history and see how we can work together.
From there it is £75 per session plus £15 travel fee if face to face visit.
