About Tristan
I am a passionate French tutor with 10 years of experience teaching High School and College students, and I have successfully worked with around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding and practical application. I believe that learning a language should go beyond theory, so I help students apply what they learn in real-life situations.
I use interactive sessions, practical examples, and regular speaking practice to make lessons engaging and effective. I also focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills.
One of my key achievements is helping students who once found French difficult become confident learners who perform well academically. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and motivating learning experience.

My teaching methodology for French emphasises practical learning, adaptability, and student engagement. I use real-life examples, case studies, and interactive exercises to help students understand how the language is used naturally. I follow a flexible teaching style, customising lessons according to each student’s level, pace, and objectives.
I promote collaboration through discussions, role-plays, and speaking exercises that build confidence and fluency. I also maintain a compassionate and encouraging environment, allowing students to make mistakes and learn without pressure.
Along with French, I also teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural understanding to provide a full and enriching learning experience.
