About Alex
I am a Computer Programming tutor with a BSc in Computer Science and more than 5 years of experience. I help high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level exams develop strong coding skills. Lessons include live coding demonstrations, step-by-step explanations, and hands-on exercises. Students practise key topics such as Loops, Functions, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming. Past paper exercises are regularly integrated to reinforce learning and build exam readiness. I focus on debugging, problem-solving, and developing logical thinking. Lessons are tailored to the student’s pace and style to maximise understanding. Complex concepts are simplified to build confidence and mastery. Creativity and curiosity are nurtured alongside technical knowledge. Students gain confidence in writing, analysing, and testing code. Lessons are interactive, practical, and structured. I make programming both engaging and accessible. Together, we turn challenging coding problems into achievable successes. My goal is to help students excel academically and in practical programming.

I teach Computer Programming with a focus on building deep understanding and hands-on skills. Active visualisation helps students see how code runs and how algorithms work in practice. Topics include Functions, Loops, Variables, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithm Design, Recursion, and basic Web Development. Lessons combine live coding demonstrations with simple, clear explanations. I support Future Developers and Logical Thinkers, helping them master fundamental programming concepts. Students practise writing, testing, and debugging code regularly. Exercises strengthen problem-solving, logical reasoning, and computational thinking skills. Real-world examples help students relate abstract concepts to practical scenarios. Creativity and structured analysis are encouraged in each session. Lessons are paced to match individual learning styles. Together, we convert difficult programming ideas into achievable skills. With steady practice, coding fundamentals become clear. Students gain confidence and independence in problem-solving. My goal is to help learners excel academically and practically.
