About Zainab
600+ hours of tutoring experience across STEM subjects! I have completed my PhD in Physics/Analytical Chemistry and have a significant amount of experience in chemistry and maths. My undergraduate degree is in Chemistry. I myself have attended high level universities (Manchester and Warwick). Whilst at university when studying chemistry, I spent a large amount of time facilitating the learning of others as part of a mentoring scheme. This allowed me to develop my teaching and tutoring abilities in chemistry, whilst adapting my approach to specific students. I have worked closely with students as a mentor for three years and also have experience with teaching undergraduate physics students in a practical lab-based environment for another three years. This ensures that not only can I explain concepts from a theoretical perspective but also in terms of practical applications. My experience allows me to not only help you with your academic studies but also allows me to help you understand your available choices and assist you in making informed decisions for your next steps.

I have completed my PhD in Physics/Analytical Chemistry and have a significant amount of experience in chemistry and maths. My one-to-one lessons with me will be tailored to the subject and style of your choice. Upon discussing the specific area to be covered, I will work with you to make a plan that can be adapted to your style of choice in a way that is most beneficial to your learning style. During the pandemic, I was also required to demonstrate practical labs in an online setting. For this reason, I am comfortable and adept at teaching online. I have the knowledge and access to resources to understand the curriculum and exam board each student is with. Once this is determined, we will work together to ensure that all your needs are met.
