About Toby
Toby Morgan is a London-based guitarist whose expertise crosses all genres of music. Born in Kent, he started learning the guitar from an early age, and continued until being accepted to the Royal College of Music and moving to London in 2015. He graduated in 2019 as the first ever person to achieve a degree as Joint Principal Study Classical and Jazz Guitar. Since moving to London, Toby has performed (both solo and with various ensembles) at venues across the capital, including the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, the Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scott's, the Spice of Life and LSO St Luke's. He is a founding member of the Kamba Guitar Quartet and regularly appears with acts such as Capital Orchestra and neo-soul band Amapola. Toby has taught Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Jazz Guitar and Electric Bass extensively for over 5 years. He is a tutor for the Tri-Borough Music Hub in London and regularly works with one-to-one students, group lessons and larger workshops.

I teach all levels of playing, from beginner to highly advanced. I try to conduct my lessons with a friendly approach, and always tailor the lesson's content to the student - by working together, we can find the best way for you to enjoy playing but also make great progress on the instrument. I have extensive experience with group teaching and SEND students.
