About Rebecca
I am a friendly and experienced primary school teacher who loves helping children feel confident and proud of their learning. I believe everyone can make progress with the right support, clear explanation and plenty of encouragement. I enjoy getting to know my students, understanding how they learn best and making lessons feel positive, calm and achievable. With over ten years of teaching experience, I know how to explain tricky ideas in a clear way and help children build skills step by step. I am currently on maternity leave which means I have flexibility to focus on supporting my students through high-quality, personalised tutoring in a way that helps them feel confident, motivated and ready to succeed.

I am a highly experienced primary school teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), gained in 2014 following a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. I have taught full-time for over ten years, with most of my experience being across Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6. I currently hold the role of Year 6 Leader and Assistant Headteacher. I also lead Mathematics across a trust of five schools, working closely with staff to raise standards, improve outcomes and support high-quality teaching and learning.
I specialise in SATs preparation for maths, reading and grammar, with extensive experience helping pupils close gaps, develop exam technique and achieve their full potential. My tutoring approach is structured, supportive and highly personalised, using clear explanation, modelling, targeted questioning and purposeful practice to build confidence and secure understanding.
Lessons typically last one hour and are carefully planned to be engaging, focused and centred on measurable progress. I am qualified to teach across the full primary age range and have flexible availability during and after the school day.
