About John
I am a Sony Recording artist, with more than 20 of my own albums released, plus hundreds more collaborations/productions. Have taught music technology and media studies at Leeds City College and Leeds College Of Music. I am an expert user of Digital Audio Workstations and have been using such systems for decades. Open minded to all music forms from Classical through Heavy Metal to Trap, Pop, Jazz and Dance. Have performed live all over the world and my most recent UK chart placing was this year.

I prefer to work individually but would consider small groups of people. I mainly teach adults these subjects but will work with any age that has a good aptitude and talent set. My main focus is on using the technology as a tool - the most important thing is to let dependency on tech go to the back of the student's mind, allowing them to focus on their own creativity first. I believe that music technology can set artists free, but that the artist must understand that it's what they want to say that is most important.
