About Nezlene
My name is Nezlene Haughton, and I am a highly experienced Mathematics and Accounts educator with over fifteen years of professional teaching and tutoring experience. I have worked with students across multiple levels, including secondary, post-secondary, adult learners, and repeat candidates, helping them develop strong foundational skills and achieve meaningful academic improvement. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to student success. I have taught structured curricula such as CSEC and A-Level Mathematics , Algebra 1 & 2 , Geometry , Trigonometry Pre-Calculus and Accounts, often delivering accelerated programs while maintaining high pass rates. My ability to simplify complex concepts and present them in a clear, logical manner allows students to understand the material with confidence rather than frustration. As a tutor, I am organized, punctual, and results-focused. Each lesson is carefully planned to align with academic standards and individual learning needs. I track progress closely, provide honest feedback, and adjust instruction to ensure steady improvement. Many of my students have progressed from struggling academically to passing and excelling in their examinations under my guidance.
