About Tima

Background

I have been teaching for more than 28 years (on a 1-2-1 basis online and face to face)and my experience has allowed me to adapt to the level and personality of each student. In this time I have taught 100s of students and helped them to pass their exams like IELTS, thesis prep, EAL, Aphasia patients and have taught from five to 60-year-olds. I mostly taught students whose grades were below average before I intervened. Private or group lessons allowed them to reach Good and even Very Good grades for the most motivated.

About the lesson

Methodology

I tailor my lessons to each and every learner (making it fun and interactive) to deliver the best results and research shows that you will learn fastest this way. I know teaching techniques that work with different personalities. So some of the variables being structure, homework, mindfulness, chats, practical help and frequency.
