Aaron served as my teacher in History and Politics, and quite literally transformed my approach to learning over 6 months. He brought huge gains to my understanding of the less interesting parts of the courses, whilst continuously upgrading my knowledge of those elements where I was already strong. Aaron is able to work to exacting timescales with an incredibly high work rate. He is enthusiastic but calm, a great communicator but also interested in and engaged by other cultures. Above all he shows that academic rigour doesn’t mean we lose perspective (or our sense of humour). It’s hard to overstate how good this guy is.

Aaron was my tutor in history, politics, and English literature for years, long before he joined Superprof. He’s literally probably one of the best tutors in London. When he met me, my predicted A-level grades were D, D, and E. Six years later, I’m now taking a history master's at UCL. This wouldn’t have happened without him. Aaron is funny, patient, kind, and dependable, not to mention exceptionally clever and well-read. His brain is a complete encyclopaedia of human history. It is astonishing. Most importantly, he never abandons a student who looks like a hopelessly sinking ship. He always sticks with a student to the end, never giving up on them until they have attained academic excellence.

I first reached out to Aaron when I was struggling in my politics A-level course. I found the classes unenjoyable and was given a prediction grade that I was not satisfied with. A family friend recommended Aaron, who had helped him improve his grades significantly by teaching him the entire course from the start. So, I decided to give Aaron a try and was amazed at the results. He not only helped me understand politics but also answered any of my economics questions. He prepared me thoroughly for my exams by helping me consolidate my notes and creating practice mock tests for me to take. Aaron also played a key role in enhancing my essay writing skills, making me well-prepared for university.

Most importantly, Aaron was not just a tutor but also a friend. He made our sessions personal and was always available to respond to my texts and calls. Even after our lessons ended, we have stayed in touch. Without Aaron's tutoring, I would not be attending the university I am currently going to. I was aiming to attend an American university, and needed my year 12 mock grades to be very high. With only three months of tutoring from Aaron, he helped me improve my grade from a C/B (as predicted) to an A*.
