About Shauna
I have over 20 years' experience teaching and tutoring maths at GCSE, A-level and university level. I have worked in local schools and colleges as a teacher, and tutored for the council and agencies as well as privately. My approach to tutoring is student-centred and based on - increasing student confidence - years of experience of assessing gaps in a student’s knowledge, diagnosing misunderstanding and areas of weakness in order to target help where it is needed most - an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and how to maximise exam success through many years of marking for exam boards. - developing students’ study skills . I usually tutor from my home in Brighton, although I can travel to your home if required (which would incur an additional charge for travel costs and time), or online if preferred.
