About Dania
As a first-year Finance student at Queen Mary University of London, I bring a uniquely current and relatable perspective to my tutoring. My age ensures a strong, collaborative bond with students, fostering an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. Having very recently navigated the same curriculum, I have a fresh and clear memory of the specific topics and concepts I found challenging. This allows me to anticipate common struggle areas and explain them with a clarity that comes from having just overcome them myself. I firmly believe that the most important thing is that the student fully understands the task at hand. To achieve this, I am highly adaptive; I pay close attention to how a student is responding and I'm not afraid to change my approach if something isn't clicking. I am a naturally patient and friendly tutor, and I deeply understand that every student has a unique method of learning and their own ideal pace. I consciously tailor my sessions to the individual, ensuring that the material is not just covered, but truly comprehended.

I firmly believe in the power of a step-by-step instructional approach with my students, as my primary goal is to ensure they achieve a deep and lasting comprehension of the material. I can easily understand how new concepts, if delivered too quickly or without sufficient context, can quickly begin to pile up and become an overwhelming burden for a learner. When topics are glossed over, students are often left with fragile knowledge and frustrating gaps that make advancing to more complex ideas incredibly difficult. To prevent this, I make a conscious effort to deconstruct each concept into its most manageable components, carefully building understanding from one logical point to the next. I find that this deliberate and detailed strategy is profoundly helpful; it not only builds their competence in the subject matter but also fosters their confidence, transforming what could be an intimidating workload into a series of achievable, successful steps.

Perfect! Dania is an exceptional tutor for my daughter. She explains maths concepts clearly and breaks them down in to simple, manageable steps, which has made a real difference to her understanding.

I’ve known Dania for a couple of months now and even though it’s not a long time, she is proven to be one of the most patient and helpful people I know. She clearly explains everything that is relevant and keeps making sure I’ve understood the key concepts and ideas that are presented in books.
