About Aoibhe
Hi, my name is Aoibhe Gallagher. I’m a 21-year-old student from Galway City and currently in my second year studying Economics and Finance at UCD, a course that requires me to work with Mathematics at a very high level.
I’ve always had a passion for Maths and take real pride in helping others build their confidence and improve their grades. Throughout school, I consistently excelled in the subject — achieving top scores in my Drumcondra exams, an A in my Junior Cert, and H1s in both Leaving Cert Maths and Applied Maths.
As a tutor, I’m patient, clear, and dedicated to tailoring my approach to each student’s needs, whether that’s breaking down tricky concepts or pushing for top grades. My goal is to help every student reach their full potential and feel genuinely confident in their abilities. If you’re looking for a committed and supportive Maths tutor who understands how to succeed in exams, I’d love to help!

Each lesson lasts approximately 60 minutes, during which students will have the opportunity to explore topics in depth. I tailor the structure of each session to the student’s individual strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring that we focus on building both understanding and confidence. To reinforce progress, I provide homework assignments — either digitally or via worksheets — to maintain consistency and help students master key concepts.
I have always been deeply passionate about Mathematics. Growing up, I competed in and won various mathematics competitions, and went on to achieve H1s in both Leaving Certificate Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Currently, I am studying Economics and Finance at University College Dublin, where I engage with advanced mathematical concepts daily. This keeps my skills sharp and allows me to bring up-to-date techniques and problem-solving methods to my tutoring.
Last year, I tutored my sister and cousin, helping them improve from H3s in their mock exams to H1s in the actual Leaving Certificate.
I am based in Stillorgan, Dublin 14, and offer both online and in-person lessons. • In-person lessons are available within a 30-minute commute and include a €5 additional charge per session. • Online lessons are flexible and accessible to students nationwide. My goal is to inspire confidence and excellence in every student, supporting them to reach their full potential and achieve outstanding results.

She is an extremely passionate, patient and hardworking person who will ensure she does everything she can to make sure you achieve the best grade you possibly could. She has really helped me to understand many maths concepts I couldn’t grasp alone through clear, slow and comprehensive explanations. I can undoubtedly say she is an amazing tutor!!

Aoibhe is a phenomenal tutor. She clearly and slowly explains concepts and provides amazing worked examples that make learning maths very easy. Any doubts/ questions I had, she answered them wonderfully, which gave me great confidence in my maths ability. Before Aoibhe, I really struggled with maths, but she helped me lots and pushed me to achieve a grade in the leaving cert that I am so proud of!!
