About Henry
My name is Henry, and I am a 16-year-old high school student with a passion for mathematics and sciences. I have a very strong background in topics like geometry, precalculus, algebra 2, and trigonometry. As a student in a highly rigorous academic program, I have developed strong analytical and reasoning skills in mathematics, and I enjoy explaining concepts to others. As a teenager, I understand how difficult math can be for students, as I have experienced struggles myself while developing my math skills. My goal is to make concepts feel friendly and understandable by breaking them down into approachable pieces and to create a supportive environment for students as they learn.

I offer personalized tutoring in Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Precalculus for middle and high school students. My goal is not only to help students solve problems, but also to build a strong understanding of the concepts behind them! I explain topics step by step, and am flexible with adapting to each student's learning needs and styles. A typical lesson plan consists of a guided walkthrough/overview of the topic, followed by problems that the student and I will work on together, and then finally problems that the student will solve independently. It is HIGHLY encouraged to ask questions! I want students to UNDERSTAND what they are doing! Whether you're preparing for a test, completing homework, or looking to strengthen your math skills, I can help you gain confidence and make math feel much more approachable.
