About Neve
I am a student at the Waterford high school in Utah, currently taking Honors Pre-Calculus math. I have consistently gotten high grades in all my math classes--some of the most challenging curriculum in the state! I have lots of experience working with kids and have helped with teaching a bit in the past. I'd love to help anyone improve their math skills, especially younger kids since math is such a crucial part of today's learning environment and future!

I've been most successful in my classes when my teachers really take care to make sure I have practiced a topic enough to have mastered it. I find that it's more than helpful to have someone walk through the math problems with you, so you can gain the practice necessary to be efficient. When I tutor it's very one on one. We will work through math problems, or even the student's homework together until the student has mastered the topic, and can do the problems on their own. I will work with them on their required curriculum as well as going even more in depth than their regular class does. I think the best way to learn math is just practice, practice, practice, until they master the topic!
