About Nica
I am a student at Mount College. I moved here from Ukraine a couple of years ago following the war. I have always been at the top of my class in subjects and have also always found myself teaching my classmates during class. My most recent achievement was winning top of my year level in Math and getting the opportunity to take an exam above my year level. I have also worked with children a lot, helping at Golden Sands Baptist Church for their holiday programs. I love helping students, especially when the concept 'clicks' for them; it is the best feeling.

I understand that not everyone learns at the same pace, so my method involves understanding the child's previous knowledge and building from that at the child's pace. A typical lesson lasts 40 min to 1 h, depending on the subject. I have won multiple school awards for being top in Maths, as well as completing courses above my level. My lessons are for kids aged 7-14, Primary - Year 10 level.
