About Martine
Hi there! I am a Norwegian-Uyghur girl with some background from Sheffield England. My mother language is Norwegian, I am fluent in English and can hold a conversation in Russian, Uyghur and other Scandinavian languages.
Currently, I am a high school student in my senior year. Previously, I have been a Pre-IB student, so I have some experience with an all-English education. Before that, in 9-10th grade, I skipped a year in English and took classes at the local high school due to a need for more advanced teaching. My experience does not stretch further than the fact that I am a good English student and is good at teaching others the English language - but I believe that is enough required to be a good tutor!

I find it is important to include news when learning a language and would like to start each course by going through important issues in the news in English. I also prepare work assignments both during the course and for the student's free time within the topics that are desirable for you - preferably what you have about at school if you are a school student. Conversation is the most important thing for me, and I will focus on the student being able to have a good conversation in English. Otherwise, of course, I adapt based on what the student needs most help with and their weaknesses.
