I was selected among a highly competitive applicant pool to be a youth leader and contributing member of the community.
Help the successful preparation and running of the Craft Fair, a signature annual community event attracting 300+ guests who purchase handmade items from local vendors.
Coordinate vendor booth locations.
Provide administrative and logistical support to vendors and organizers to ensure proper running of the fair.
Responsible for ensuring an inviting space during the Santa Breakfast, where more than 80 parents and children attended.
Set up tables, venue space, and activity booklets.
On a weekly basis, supervise up to 20 people in the community centre’s games room to ensure the comfort and safety of users while adhering to centre policies and protocols

Investment Club, St. George's School Vancouver, BC

St. George’s School’s Investment Club manages a real-life investment portfolio. The club is focused on the three tenets of: Learn, Invest, Give. It was founded in 2008, and has since been the most popular and oldest club in the school, with an average of over 100 members participating annually.
Elected alongside 6 other individuals to serve as an executive with the school's longest lasting club.
Responsible for shifting the club’s strategic priorities — changed ratio of 100% profit donation to 80% reinvestment and 20% donation for future growth.
Implemented new format by making meetings more interactive and entertaining for more financially literate members with the introduction of lecture-based content and slideshows.
As one of the more experienced among the club, I am responsible for planning and presenting 80% of the lectures.
Manage the club’s operations for 3 months since starting in October 2020 while being in compliance with school-wide restrictions due to COVID.

I believe that if students are given an environment where they feel comfortable with asking questions, regardless of how simple the question may be, then they will have the maximum output. I also believe in not simply telling them the answer, but rather working it out step by step. Just looking for a way to spend my free time in a productive manner.

Perfect! Fu is a great tutor! He is super patient when teaching me. I found him very effective on teaching me as he always explained and demonstrated steps pretty clear. Also, he is a good guy and very easy to talk to. Definetly recommend for learners!!
