I believe students should take lessons with me because I offer a unique blend of skills and qualities that make me a great tutor. My strong background in academic English allows me to help students understand complex grammar and essay structure, breaking everything down in a way that’s easy to follow. I’m passionate about teaching writing, especially at the university level, and I know how to guide students through the process step-by-step.
Beyond just academics, I’m a certified babysitter with First Aid and AED training, which shows my patience, kindness, and genuine care for others. These qualities help me create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
My diverse interests, including cooking, baking, painting, and writing poems, also help make my lessons more creative and engaging. I love incorporating these passions into tutoring, which helps keep the learning process fun.
Being from Brampton with Caribbean roots, I can connect with students from different backgrounds, making them feel understood and valued. Overall, I believe I can offer a well-rounded, nurturing, and effective tutoring experience.
