About Kathy
I have taught high school mathematics for 15 years, which is roughly 1500 students.
The best compliment a college student gave me was when he told me that I had given him confidence. I had taught him PreCalculus and he had come back to my classroom to thank me for preparing him well for Calculus.

My first degree was in Mechanical Engineering. Ten years later I became a high school mathematics teacher and have taught in the classroom for 15 years. Presently, I am working on my second Master's (Math Education) because I love to teach mathematics.
I have teaching licenses in four states (NM, AK, CO, and MI) and have taught various forms of high school math curriculum. My job is to determine what you don't understand (usually what information you are missing) that will help you "get it". My desire is to have you sign off feeling confident that you now can solve any other similar math problems.
