About Sonya

When I was in school, I remember struggling to understand concepts and just wish I had a support person beside me who would understand my issues and help me with my learning, and this is the reason why I love teaching! I have been there before, and I know how it feels :)

About the lesson

Each lesson is typically 1 hour long, however I am flexible to adjust to extend the lesson if required.

I get to know my students first, to see what type of learning works for them. I use evidence-based learning and teaching strategies to help students understand and apply their learning!

I am always contactable outside of tutoring hours for any questions :)

I have experience tutoring students aged 5-18 years old! I have tutored in-person, and online!
