About Kathleen
I’ve been helping my friends with math and physics since the 9th grade. I joined the National Math Honor Society and have participated in math competitions and tutoring for 3 years. My senior year I helped tutor a SAT Bootcamp for math. I have a SAT math score of 730 and an ACT math of 33 and science of 35. More personally, I love dogs and cats and am more than willing to take my time to show shortcuts and easy ways to remember skills that help students.

I’ve taken AP Calc AB and BC, along with AP Stats and Precalculus honors, receiving A’s in all courses and 5’s and 4’s on the AP exams, and a perfect score on the Algebra 1 EOC. I’ve also taken AP Physics 1 and both AP Physics C courses, A’s in the courses.
Now in college I have taken Calculus 3, Differential Equations and Matrices, and Applied Mathematics for Physicists and Engineers.
I have experience tutoring math, running an SAT math bootcamp and participating in math tutoring at my high school after school.

Perfect! Went through the steps slowly enough so I could understand and she had me do some practice problems so I knew how to get the right answer.
Perfect! She's very patient and easy to work with. Tremendous help. Would recommend if you're looking for a reliable tutor.

Kathleen and I went to school together, and I can say she's super smart and a great teacher! She's great at pretty much everything, English, Spanish, Physics, Calculus, you name it. She's really great at breaking things down and explaining them, and she has formal teaching experience with the math club at our school and with schoolhouse.org. If you struggle with visualizing things she's especially helpful! Try her out!
Kathleen’s aptitude, attitude, and kindness make her perfect as a tutor—she has always demonstrated not only a natural love for and expertise in math, but also a willingness to work hard and remain dedicated to any task she is set upon. Not only that, but she goes above and beyond to make the people around her comfortable; I have always felt that Kathleen listens to and adapts to my needs.
She is the best!!! I was falling behind in my pre calc class and I was scared I would fail, but I reached out to Kathy from a friend who recommended her and she was so kind and patient with me! She was always very clear and thorough with her explanations and answered any question I had. She ended up helping get my C to an A! If you want a kind, thorough, and passionate teacher, you need to go to Kathleen!
