About Kirsty
I am a current tertiary student undergoing the Bachelor of Primary Education at University of Canberra. I have 4 experience tutoring my cohort and friends to improve their skills in these area. I am looking to make some extra money to fund my degree and to extend my practical skills relating to my chosen field of study.

My teaching method is very proactive. I set up discussions in a semi formal atmosphere that allows students to express their concerns and inquiries. I will set expected class tasks and it is up to the student to complete these tasks to progress their skills as I believe practical experience is the best way to extend upon your skills.

Kirsty and I were both in the same year of high school, up until my final year I wasn't a good student and didn't try in school. My writing was bad and I didn't understand any of the techniques used in English analysis. Her style of teaching allows you to not just learn a concept but put that concept into practice and get detailed and concise feedback. For example, if I were to give her an essay draft. She would highlight areas where I could have used stronger techniques and wording. Explaining the why's and hows of English writing. If you are a student who is dedicated to achieving the best you can in English, I cannot recommend Kirsty enough as an English tutor.
