About FInley
I am a top varsity and national swimmer and also play basketball and football, bringing discipline, focus, and teamwork to everything I do—including tutoring. I’ve attended several high-level schools and know what it takes to succeed. I’m really confident in maths, especially algebra, though it wasn’t always that way for me. I used to find maths difficult, but I discovered new ways of learning that completely changed my perspective. I want to help you do the same.

I focus on making maths clear, fun, and approachable. I get to know each student first to understand how they learn best, and I adjust my teaching style to fit their needs. I'm really patient and always ready to explain things in different ways until it clicks. My lessons are usually one hour long, challenging but enjoyable, to keep kids engaged and motivated. I specialise in Year 7–9 algebra and have strong maths skills, with top grades. I'm especially good at working with younger kids, building their confidence and helping them improve step by step.
