About Amzhar
As a student myself, I believe in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. My teaching style is characterized by a combination of enthusiasm, adaptability, and a student-centered approach. I strive to make the learning experience enjoyable, relevant, and meaningful for my students. In terms of methodology, I employ a variety of instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities. One of the key factors that sets me apart as a teacher is my strong academic background and achievements. As a valedictorian and recipient of outstanding awards in various subjects, I have demonstrated a deep understanding and proficiency in the subjects I teach. This expertise allows me to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, breaking them down into digestible components for students to grasp. Furthermore, my involvement in extracurricular activities such as the EJASS program, where I volunteered to teach Somali refugees basic mathematics and English, has nurtured my empathy and compassion for diverse learners. This experience has taught me the importance of personalized instruction, patience, and understanding in meeting the unique needs of each student. Additionally, my role as a personal tutor and participation in programs like ADVICE have honed my ability to provide tailored guidance and support to students preparing for exams. I believe in instilling confidence, motivation, and self-discipline in my students, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey and achieve their goals. Academic - Valedictorian 2023: (Y10 AND Y11) Ranked 1st in the entire year - (Y10 AND Y11) Outstanding awards in Additional Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography - Captained the Online Maths FOBISIA competition in 2022 - Competed in the FOBISIA international science championships 2021 - A* IGCSE Malay + PREDICTED GRADES: 9A* Extracurriculars - EJASS bronze, silver, gold: Volunteered and helped teach a group of Somali refugees basic maths and English, - Was a part of the ADVICE program given to the new IGCSE batch and gave them extensive details on acing Additional Mathematics - Personal tutor: I have had weekly online sessions for additional mathematics with my peers for many months leading up to the IG exams

Absolutely amazing! One of the best teachers I’ve ever had. For my y10 examination I scored a C for addmaths and only a B in maths. But that all changed after I undertook his lessons.
