About Ayaan
I am a dedicated and patient math tutor who focuses on helping students truly understand the concepts behind their work. I take the time to explain ideas clearly, break problems into manageable steps, and guide students until they feel confident solving questions on their own. My approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s level and learning style.
As a high-achieving senior student with strong results in mathematics, I understand the challenges younger students face and how to overcome them. I have experience helping classmates and younger students at school, and I enjoy seeing their confidence grow as topics start to make sense.
I work with students from Years 5-10, whether they need help with classwork, homework, revision, or building a stronger foundation in math. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of their progress.

My teaching style
I explain math in a clear, step-by-step way so students understand the logic behind each topic. I use simple examples, quick checks for understanding, and different methods until the student finds one that makes sense for them. My goal is to build confidence, not stress.
How my lessons usually run
Lessons can be 30-120 minutes.
We start with a short warm-up to see what the student already knows, then move into new content or homework help. I guide them through practice questions and finish with a quick recap so they leave knowing exactly what they improved on.
My qualifications and experience
I’m a high-achieving senior student with strong results in math and experience helping younger students at school. I’m patient, organized, and good at breaking down tricky concepts into something manageable.

My lessons are ideal for Kindergarten to Year 6 students who want help with classwork, homework, revision, or building confidence in math.
