About May
I'm a passionate and enthusiastic learner, both of which are traits that I also utilise in my teaching! I understand that every individual student has different methods of learning which are efficient for them, and am completely willing to adapt or adjust my sessions to fit the student's needs.
I'm familiar with the VCE curriculum and highly skilled in the English language with some prior experience as a an English private tutor. As a HSC graduate with excellent academic results I hope to be able to use my own experiences to help other students strive for success!

Flexible teaching, depending on student needs and preferences. Patient and understanding regarding personal student goals, whether it be to consolidate knowledge, improve and refine existing skills or learn something new!
For primary school students, lessons will be more generalised, with the aim of improving comprehension of written English, developing foundational writing and reading skills, as well as expanding the student's knowledge on grammar, spelling and common text types.
For high school students (Years 7-10), lessons can target areas of weakness to refine the student's skills for their upcoming VCE journey. If requested, we can jump ahead of the school program to give the student an advantage going into the year/term.
For VCE students, lessons will include revision and exam practice, or simply extra learning support if needed, to make sure you are in the best place you can be by the time exams arrive!
I am happy to do lessons online, or at a public location negotiated by myself and the student, but cannot guarantee in-home lessons. One hour sessions for students of all ages in Year 1-12. Inquire about longer/shorter lesson times and discounted prices.
