About Max
Hey, I'm not sure what this section is totally about. However, it seems like it wants me to explain me. In my life, I like business, playing video games, and hanging out with my partner. When it comes to tutoring, I will make sure our lessons are a mix of fun and work. I'm relatively (as the youngin's say) "chill." And I love tutoring, so hopefully my excitement may rub off on you too!

I'm sure you see a lot of these, so I'll break it up if you want to skip sections. --- Why I tutor --- I've always loved tutoring. It's an opportunity for me to give back to the next generation that will shape the world we live in. But now, with AI, it's all the more important that the future leaders become masters of their craft and their mind. --- Philosophy --- I value you/your child learning how to learn. Content will come from time and experience, but learning is an invaluable skill. When you work with me, our sessions will eventually come to an end when you/your child is ready. --- Past Tutoring Experience --- (this is past students) (2x) coach of the NY State MathCounts 1st place team. 10+ USAMO Qualifiers. Female chess player to FIDE Master. Countless students to improve their grades in class and standardized testing scores. One (current) Juilliard pianist. One student to Brown University. --- Past personal experience --- (this is me) National Chess Champion National Merit Finalist CMU 15-112 Hackathon 1st Place Multiple Carnegie Hall performer 17/19 colleges accepted 4-time AIME qualifier & 1 time AMO qualifier --- What I teach --- I teach all age levels and grades in either 1:1 or group settings. I tutor all subjects commonly offered up to high school as well as standardized testing. For specialized tutoring, I offer chess, piano, and competition math lessons as well as college counseling.
