About Mohammed
Hello! I’m Mohammed Saifullah, a passionate and dedicated Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University, currently studying on a full scholarship. I’ve always believed that a great tutor does more than just teach — they inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support students in achieving their best. With hands-on experience in coding, website development, and backend systems through internships and academic projects, I bring practical knowledge into my Computer Science lessons. I’m equally confident teaching Mathematics and English up to high school level, focusing on clarity, structure, and student engagement. I also have a strong foundation in teaching the Quran, from basic reading to advanced understanding, including Tajweed. My communication skills, patience, and ability to connect with students of different ages and levels allow me to create a positive and productive learning environment. I strive to make every session not just informative, but motivating — helping students overcome challenges and grow in confidence. I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, which helps me connect with students from various backgrounds. As a passionate tutor and Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University on a full scholarship, I believe that learning should be engaging, personalized, and practical. My approach is student-centered — I begin by understanding each learner's strengths, challenges, and goals, then tailor the lessons accordingly. I explain concepts through relatable examples, visual aids, and step-by-step breakdowns to ensure full clarity before moving on. Whether you're solving math problems, mastering English grammar and writing, or learning how to code, my goal is to build confidence and independence in every student.
For Computer Science, I cover key topics like Python, Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript for web development, and databases such as MySQL and SQLite. I use my own real-world project experience to help students apply theory practically, which is especially helpful for school projects or future career prep. For Maths and English, I focus on core understanding, problem-solving techniques, and structured practice tailored to school curricula.
I also offer Quran lessons from beginner to advanced level, with an emphasis on correct pronunciation (Tajweed), meaning, and memorization where required. Lessons are conducted with patience, respect, and encouragement.
Each class typically runs for 60 minutes, with flexible scheduling available. I’ve worked with students aged 10 to 18, across different curriculums and backgrounds, and I strive to make every session enriching, motivating, and progress-oriented.
