About Safia
Hi, my name is Safia! I'm currently a Nursing student at University and I'm excited to begin tutoring alongside my studies. Maths, Science, and Psychology were some of my favourite subjects in school, and I'm passionate about helping others navigate these subjects and enjoy them as much as I did. I bring solid subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for education. I believe that with the right support and mindset, every student can improve and feel more confident in their abilities!

I have a strong academic background in Maths, Science, and Psychology and a genuine passion for helping others understand these subjects. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simpler steps, using clear explanations and real-life examples to make learning more engaging and relatable. My lessons are typically one hour long, but I'm flexible based on the student's needs and attention span - especially for younger learners. I've volunteered as a Teaching Assistant at a supplementary school in the past, and I'm confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. These lessons are aimed at primary school and GCSE students who need help with Maths, Science, or Psychology, whether they're preparing for exams or just looking to build confidence. I'm committed to creating a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable and empowered to take control of their own learning!
