About Lucas
Welcome! I am currently majoring in the Honors Physics program at Concordia University. I have studied music theory in choirs and jazz in middle school and high school. Music-wise, I play solo guitar concerts when time is available. Feel free to message me if you are interested in discussing guitar or music in general.

I like to adapt my teaching to the student's needs and time. I understand that we all have lives outside of music. I teach all levels (beginner to advanced). I specialize in blues, jazz, fingerstyle, and rock music. I focus on what the student would like to be able to achieve on the guitar and what I think is necessary to get there and improve overall as an artist, musician, and player.

Perfect! Lucas is a brilliant guitar player and an excellent teacher. He has a very well developed philosophy of teaching/learning but is constantly listening for feedback and adapts to an individual's learning style, strengths and areas of improvement. He really listens and shapes the lessons to be enjoyable and to make as much progress as possible. He is insightful, kind, very gentle, and really inspiring! One of the best learning experiences I've ever had!

I've been taking lessons from Lucas for a bit more than 6 months and he has been extremely helpful the whole way through. He's receptive to any specific things that I want to focus on and always has more to teach when I don't. He provides constructive feedback on my progress and keeps good track of what we've covered so far. He also makes sure to customize lessons for my needs and comes up with detailed and useful explanations for all topics we cover. All in all, Lucas is a wonderful teacher, highly recommend!
I've been having online guitar lessons with Lucas for over 6 months now, and so far my experience has been great. He's extremely knowledgeable, very patient with his students, and can cover a wide genre of music. He really is a great teacher and I'd recommend him to any guitar players looking to learn and get better.
