About Beth
I understand it can be daunting learning a new language and the idea of meeting a new tutor may make you feel apprehensive or nervous. Let me reassure you that I respect each individual for who they are, taking into account each individuals abilities. I currently work with children and young people in a residential care setting, where I work with children, all with different learning abilities. My aim is to make you feel comfortable and confident during your tutoring sessions, where no question is a silly question.

As english is one of the most widely spoken languages of our world, I am here to help the children who's aim it is to learn the basics of english, early. I like to create a holistic approach to learning, incorporating various teaching methods which are interactive, interesting and most importantly fun. Learning is much easier when it's fun, right? All of my lessons will be catered to each individuals abilities where I can cover speaking, reading and writing. Each lesson will be between 30 minutes and 1 hour. I have extensive experience volunteer teaching across parts of Africa and Indonesia and possess a Higher National Certificate in Early Education and Childcare. I have completed one year of study of the MA Primary Education course at Aberdeen of University and intend to compete this in due course.
