About Nermin
My name in Nermin Isic, I am a first generation college student that recently completed my Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Texas Tech University. I began my education at a small community college in Illinois before deciding to join the military. After my service, I transferred to Texas Tech to study chemical engineering. After several years of studying chemical engineering, I ultimately switched to chemistry and completed my bachelor of science. Once I completed my Bachelor's degree, I stayed at Texas Tech to complete my Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Since then, I have started working at a hospital as a medical lab scientist.

I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Texas Tech University.I began my studies there as an undergrad studying chemical engineering before I switched focus in grad school to organic chemistry. During both my undergraduate and graduate programs, I have completed all chemistry courses, most physics courses offered, as well as numerous mathematics courses. I am happy to help with any level of STEM or any other courses you may need. I have numerous years of experience both tutoring and teaching full college courses and classrooms at Texas Tech. Outside course work, I am happy to help with college prep, reading over papers, and answering any questions you may have about school, college, programs, etc. Typical lesson plans start with me asking about the topics you are learning, how you feel about them, and any additional questions you may have. With that information, I customize a lesson plan specifically for you and the way you are able to learn. I offer practice problems, various ways of explanation, recommendations for learning, and more! I look forward to hearing from you and helping you along your educational journey!
