Hello, my name is Kate Pittel. I am an Honors graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (Class of 2020) and I am currently applying to graduate school. I have developed a proclivity for tutoring students within the mathematics subject. While in my undergraduate years at Cal, I tutored for a company based out of the Bay Area, with an emphasis on STEM classes; my expertise ranges from beginning, to intermediate, to Advanced Placement classes. I prefer to know what subject matter we are reviewing in advance, in order to tailor the lesson to your needs. I like to review homework problems, past exams/quizzes, and then create new challenge problems for the student. Typically, my lessons run for an hour and include review, practice problems, and then challenge problems to ensure proficiency and mastery of the content.
