About Jude
My journey started when I was 14 and I was a self taught musician for 7 years then started having lessons with well established session musicians in the west end. My technique grew and so did my understanding of the instrument. I began playing rock and now play jazz and many other styles enjoying the journey to better myself as a musician. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years and wanted to blend my teaching in schools to teaching Guitar. After months of understanding how the lessons will be I have made a great timetable of how the lesson will be structured and how your progression will be beneficial from my teaching. No matter your fears no matter your goals you will over come and reach them with practice and patience. Have to learn how to walk before you can run.

In my lesson you will go through the basic stuff with understand the neck, strings, notes plus chords. Then choosing the songs that are best for your suited level, after that the more interest you have with the instrument we discuss what style you would like to have an interest with. After going through all the basic stuff I will teach you theory, sequences, scales, arpeggios, progressions and other techniques to improve your playing. Plus ear training is a bonus to learn no matter level. Sheet music I can do but at the starting levels as I’m just getting to grips with it myself but I am able to teach it. Practice leads to Progression and I’m a firm believer if we both put in the work your lesson and skills will double seamlessly.

Jude is a fantastic guitar teacher, very responsive to different styles of learning and incredibly knowledgeable. Lessons with Jude have improved my guitar skills rapidly, he's a very engaging and encouraging teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn rock guitar.
Jude is a friend and ex-colleague who has been teaching my 15 year old daughter the bass guitar. A talented musician in his own right, he also regularly performs at our music event as part of the house band and as a solo performer. His teaching style instills confidence through individually tailored lessons that incorporate the student's own musical tastes. As my daughter is a novice bass player, Jude's positive, calm approach and enjoyable lessons have led to great progression in my daughter's skills and confidence.
